"Yeah I bet they could. This new government would hide anything that's uncomfortable for them." Even the littlest things. It was all about saving face. Saving their own hides. Keeping the people in the dark so they wouldn't know any better that they were living a corrupt world-- a cannibalistic world that would feed on them the moment they got in the way. This world would grind them in the gears and spit out their remains and call it good and for the progress of the nation.
